Revere 33 Stereo Camera and Minolta III meter--which flash device is compatible? I have a Revere 33 stereoscopic camera and a Minolta III Flash/Light meter. I do not have a flash for either device currently, but I would like to get one. Do I have to get a flash device compatible with the Minolta II, or the stereo camera? i was installing a back up camera into my indash dvd, when wiring it to the battery, stereo lost power? I have a 2004 ford f150. I think something went wrong with the battery cable. my cig lighter works fine, along with all my lights and such. any thoughts? I checked all other wires, and all other wires are connected.

Digital cameras that record stereo sound? Hi guys, I'm looking for an affordable digital (compact PnS) camera that can shoot videos with clear and stereo sound. It doesn't have to be 720p or 1080p -- as long as recording quality is better than your standard mono-mike cameras. I have a tdc stereo vivid camera and I am confused- please help ASAP? Long explanations that I won't get into, but I really need to use this camera because I can't get to another one til Monday and I have 2 rolls of film to take by Wednesday and no time in between those two days to do it. I know this takes "double exposures" but that just means when I take my film out, I'll have two of the same picture right? I can still make a single print that's not "3D." Other question is- I have ISO 400 film. But it looks like this camera can only go up to ISO 100? What happens? I was reading around and it looked like the film would get overexposed? Is this true? If so, is there a way to adjust the aperture and shutter speeds and exposure so that it compensates for the change in film speed? Please explain in the simplest way possible! :)

Would a stereo mic in a handheld camera hold up against a drum kit? Hey I am wanting to record some songs on my drums for youtube, as everyone knows, drums are LOUD. Most cameras can't keep up with the noise and it sounds shocking when played back. how big of an sd card will my car stereo recognize? i have a dual brand car stereo from best buy. it has a usb slot on the front for a thumb drive. it will play mp3's right off the thumb drive. i am using a usb micro sd card reader with a 4 gig micro sd card. question is how big of a card can the stereo recognize. example, my digital camera will read up to 2 gig. if i put a 4 gig card in my camera it says 2 gig. the instructions don't say anything.
How does one discern the sampling rate of a digital video camera? I'm looking for a way to increase the audio quality on my video camera. I have a very good digital stereo audio recorder that allows adjustable sampling settings. I'd like to have a close, if not identical, rate so it's easy to match the two when editing. Can a red light camera catch you if the opposite lane has a green turning arrow? My beyond stupid friend accelerated at a red light and stopped to trick me into accelerating because i was changing my car stereo at the time (we convoying it). However, the opposite side had a green turning arrow (it was late so no one was really turning, thank God). I would think the camera would mistake me for a left turner if it is motion sensor. I have a Canon FS200 Digital Video Camcorder 2000x Zoom Digital Photo Camera with Digital Dolby Stereo Creator? It also reads 41X Advanced Zoom, it has a hook up for a more advanced direct microphone with a nice filter to it, you can pin-point the sound you want filtering out the sound you do not want. Then it has an AV-out which I hook up my BOSE Tripod Head Phones to, it lets me know if I got the sound I was looking for etc. It also has a USB hook up, which is why I'm writing. I don't want to sound like I'm some kind of camcorder and sound whiz kid- I'm not and I know what all I just wrote might make me sound like I know what I'm doing but I don't I'm just learning. I know that Canon makes one that is supposed to be better then this one but in the right hands such as my son then combining windows movie maker he makes one heck of a fun video to watch on you tube. What I would like to know is , is it possible to hook this camcorder up to my PC and through Windows Live.com email system can I make video emails and send them to friends ,family and associates while I'm at it send pictures as well? Also since it has a USB hook up could I use it as a live one on one video Conference Tool or use it to have a video conference with several people? or do I have to buy a PC video camera that clips onto the top of the screen? Help: stereo photography w/ 3-D Trio Camera? I finished a roll of film the other day and went to Walgreen to get it developed. When finished the photos didn't really turn out right. Is it alright to have an SLR next to unshielded stereo speakers? I always set my Nikon D80 (SLR camera) down next to my speakers (AKA: stereo monitors). Is this a bad idea? My speakers do not have a magnetic shield. When they are next to my TV, the colors turn a bit green or purple (due to magnetic interference). Why does my Rode Stereo Video Mic produce a static? When I hook up my Rode SVM to my Canon 550D and start recording, there is a static which is about as loud as the normal sound on the video. Is the video screen built into the rearview mirror a standard LCD screen? I have a 2010 ford escape with a video screen on the rear view mirror for the reverse camera. The stereo already has audio input jacks. I was wondering if I can splice in a video source into the lcd. I'd also have to find how to have power running to it since it only powers on when the car is put in reverse. Would this work and be easy to do without to many mods?
Why are there no good quality American consumer electronics maker? All the top of the line HDTV's, LCD's, Speakers, Stereos, Cameras, Camcorders, Music Players, cell phones, etc, are all Japanese/Korean companies like Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Toshiba, LG, Hitachi, etc. Cannot think of one single American company, why is that? What is the best Digital Camera for me under $200? I'm looking for the best digital camera on the market right now with amazing camera stabilization and photo quality. What camera should I get? I am getting a camera and wasn't sure whether to get a DSLR or a Bridge Camera. For the same price, I can get a Bridge camera with stereo sound, HD video (although I'm not too fussed about video; there are relatively cheap video cameras on the market these days) and 20x optical zoom with 30x digital on top of that, or I can get a DSLR, which would take better photos but only has a 3x zoom and needs different lenses. I am more inclined to get a DSLR as the higher photo quality appeals to me and I like the feel of it better (the size etc.) and I really like the click it makes when taking photos, haha! So I want to know: am I better to go for the more versatile and overall cheaper Bridge, or go for the SLR which I like better, the layout etc, takes better photos, but with a worse zoom and with less features?

possible name of camera? have an old wooden camera the takes stereo pictures with glass plates with the name wollensak opt co pat. 1900 on the front of the lens holder. wollensak is no longer here so where could i possibly find out the make of the camera. to look at it it just looks like a wooden box all the leatherette has fallen off. it is a single bellows (with a center curtain that can be removed). and used as a single lens. the lens is on a removable wooden mount. it could be used with a single lens (which i don't have) or a stereo (which i do have) by inserting the center curtain. it has air timers. the brass hardware has been removed and stored inside in plastic. ends 7" by 6 3/4" 91/2" end to end (about the size of 2 cigar boxs one on top of other) tripod mount on end and side. view finder a small woden box that swivels the eyepiece lens is missing.

I'm looking for a good microphone for a video camera? I have a Sony VX 1000 Mini DV cam; the video quality is excellent and I have not felt the need to upgrade to anything "Higher End". Whatever can be done in the so-called "better" cameras I can do in Premiere Pro, After Effects or other software. However, I need an external mic. There is a mini-stereo jack on the camera (not an XLR) and I am looking for a mic to plug into this jack. The built-in mic is shot. I'm looking for recommendations for this mike - I'd like have a camera-mounted shotgun microphone; good sound quality, stereo if possible. Any experiences out there?
Why do some people think the Iphone is the greatest thing man has invented, since the wheel? I hear that argument, and I don't get it. I have seen better phones, some with TV tuners. Sure, it plays music well, friendly web browsing and such. But with only 2MP camera, problematic MMS, no stereo bluetooth (for a music device) or bt file transfer for that matter, no FM radio, no video chat option (for any version)... Playing back on a TV with a video camera (PS3 genius's NEEDED)? I have and old TV, it's one of the old ones with only one cable out on the back, so the only way I could hook up my ps3 was with a rf modulator, which i did. now the only way for me to record off of it is to set the ps3's imput and the cameras output to the the stereo playback. (wtf????) first off in the menu of my camera it has PAL and NTSC I dont know how to set the ps3 to that. but in the users guide to the camera it says set the video out to NTSC or PAL for your region......region? please help me. other Information camera: kodak zi8 TV brand: philips the original ps3 hdmi connector cable

How do I block unwanted noises for my mic to pickup? I have a audio technica ATR 55 stereo condenser video mic on my accessory shoe on the camcorder and if I even make the slightest finger rub on the camera's plastic or on the zoom lever it picks up an annoying "swoop" sound. Are there any better mics out there (50 buck range) that have a maybe a stand that soaks up vibrations or is there a practical trick for the mic i already have?

Any Japanese people in Ireland interested in buying a brand new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 12mp compact camera? I bought it on ebay direct from Japan, but unfortunately all the onscreen instructions are in Japanese rendering this superb camera virtually useless for me. Unlike the European models there is no option to change the language. It retails in Ireland for a minimum price of around 400 euro to 440 euro. I will gladly accept 280 euro for it or nearest offer. Do you know anyone who might be interested? It is the most superb camera, with 12X optical zoom, and HDTV video with stereo sound and zoom, the only compact camera in the world with these features. If my camera got "stolen" out of a car and was in my "friends" friend car...is it my fault? She says her attorney says its not their fault it was stolen from the car...but the persons car(lets call him matt), Matts had his stereo and ipod stolen before. At the end of the concert I found nichole(now, she lives 50 minutes to a hour from me) and she said that her friends left without her and they had my camera. i freaked out, but asked her to ship it to me and she said she would have her mom because when she was "touring with all time low". she said her mom sent it to be there in 2-3 days, it never came. i had texted her many times for the tracking number and she finally gave it to me on thursday. i called ups and fedex and both companies said nothing was being shipped to my house. i said to nichole"you know i can sue you for stealing" and she said "its not my fault fedex lost it" my friend richard said his friend told him nichole got a nikon d40 from alex from all time low(which i don't believe. thats my nikon d40!) and i called nichole and she was like "sam i would never steal from you you're my friend and nikons suck leslie(the girl whos car i left my camrea in) has one and she says they suck" then, Nichole says to me"i told you before in a text message that the camera got stolen out of my friends car and i was covering for him because he thought he could get in legal trouble for it; AFTER speaking to an attorney, he can't. On-Camera Audio Input? I am looking to by a shotgun mic and boom pole but my camera (Sony HDR-HC5) does not have a standard audio input like a headphone/stereo jack. What can be done about my cop calling - harrassing neighbors in Portland, Oregon? My neighbors (across the street) have called the cops on us for noise levels and constantly threaten to call them again. When they called before someone from the city came out and advised us of the level the stereo could be at. The neighbors complain about anything that causes noise (playing basketball in the street, etc). It appears that they have a camera pointed at my house. My landlord says that if we get another complaint against us that we will be evicted. How can I make this neighbor leave us alone? Nobody else has any problems with us and have not had any for the past 6 years. Is there anything that I can do legally? I am really tired of living in fear of being evicted. We no longer play the music louder than the law alows (though I never thought of the base "thumping" being a problem). Everything is quite after 10pm (all nights). The neighbor has also accused my kids (teenagers) of trespassing and of vandalizim. The neighbors are unwilling to speak to me. I am not asking for anything other than to live peacefully, like we did before they moved in.

Digital Camera for CONCERTS - Big Zoom, Best Audio !? I owned the TZ1 and sold on craigslist -and I should have kept it because the video and sound was much better for my main purpose of the camera... compared to the Lumix TZ5 The TZ5 takes great images - but sucks major donkey in the audio and focus dept for CONCERTS ! Ya well I figured the TZ1 was good and that the TZ55 would be better. I didn't research enough and here I am. I run a concert review blog and my main goal is to have a Digital Camera that does decent photos and has a big zoom for good video with good audio... Want to see the difference? Here is the best video I shot with my TZ1 - 6th row centre for Eric Clapton - watch on HIGH QUALITY. The sound is not great but... it does not distort... the video is plain deadly!!! Sony HDR-SR7 and Rode Stereo Videomic Help? I am looking at buying a Sony HDR-SR7 but have read alot of bad reviews about the microphone not having a wind guard. I was always going to but an external mic and was pretty keen on a Rode Stereo Videomic. The only problem is in some reviews i have read it has said that the HDR SR7 only accepts Sony type shoe mounts. Is this true? And if it is is there another way to mount this mic on the camera OR are there any good sony brand microphones?
Where can i get a manual for my camcorder/video camera thing.? I have this video camera and i need a manual. I don't know the version number or where it is but i can describe it to you. It's a Samsung, its all grey, not new and really fancy. On the thing that you puill out and you see the video, its on the left, it has four stickers, Digital Camera, Usb, Playback Zoom, and PowerNite Pix. It also says memory stick, Mini DV, and Digital-cam NTSC. If you look at it from the top its has a PCM stereo. On the thing that you move up and down it only has about 3 options, Camera, Off, Replay. And thats about it.
My Canon AE-1 50mm manual override camera ? I was out taking pictures for my photo class, and the first 5 or 6 pictures I could just point and shoot. All of a sudden around the 6 or 7th I had to keep pressing the shutter a numerous amount of time before it would finally take the picture. I can't have my camera dieing out on me...I just had my car broken into and they stole all my assignments, lenses, filters, photo paper and negatives. along with my stereo. I had class earlier and then had to go to work so it was still in my car. I am going to be really sad if my camera is broken. What is a good security camera I can use for later evidence? I have a Honda Civic and some thief keeps breaking into it to take my spare change (doesn't touch my stereo strangely). My car has an alarm system and it went off again this morning again. Good, affordable entry-level prosumer DV camera? As a film student, I'm looking for an entry-level, yet good quality prosumer DV camera. It must be 3CCD, use miniDV tapes, NTSC, and be able to shoot 16:9 (anamorphic of course) as well as the usual 4:3. I would like it to have a headphone jack and possibly the ability to plug in an external mic that uses 1/8" stereo or mono jack, RCA, and/or XLR (so I can have a boom mic handler). Using CCTV/ Surveillence (spy-camera) equipment to catch criminal elements - worth the investment ? ok, i ask this because recently my mothers car passenger window was smashed, the strip that runs along the side of my car (across both doors) was 'ripped off' , and just recently - my front bumper was completely written off, it appears as if it was smashed and/or pulled out of place with force although one could only speculate as to the circumstances by which this may have happened. My area has a long and rich history of car crime I suppose, most notably car stereo systems being thieved (resulting in a window being smashed to access it). With me, i've had it all - i've had indicator lights removed with precision, i've had hub-caps (rim discs for the wheels) being removed and stolen, windows smashed, deliberate acts of vandalism along the lines of 'scratches, dents etc' . It really does a number on ones peace of mind, its gotten to the point of which im really fed up with this. I reported this incident involving my car bumper to the police, the cctv idea was suggested by an extremely polite and professionaly adept young officer on duty that day. The idea had come to me before, but now it seems like its the only thing I can do to combat these criminal elements. I figure, if I can capture footage of these ppl doing these things, then I can broadcast it live on any number of online video sharing websites, better yet - submit this footage to the local council or even better - develop a website dedicated to car crime in my town and maybe start up a mini business that sells surveillence cameras to catch scum like these ppl. if you do the crime, you should also have the priviledge and honour of having all the exposure in the world for your antics - thus my idea being, showing the masses out there what you get up to outside ppls homes in the early hours of the morning. Some idea as to the appearance, height, build etc of these criminals would be nice - it would give me a bit of peace of mind just knowing. Do you think I ought to invest in this ?
using adobe premier pro 2.0, how do i get a stereo/5.1 dvd output? ive been using the premier pro 2.0 to create dvds out of combined video clips and digital still images(using sony DV handycan and a sony digital still camera). basically, all i do is arrange the clips and the still images, add some video effects(ive never done audio effects), then add background music(in mp3 format). that is all. i have finished about 4 dvds but all have mono audiooutput. when i watch the finished dvds on my dvd player(panasonic), sound only comes from the left speaker. follow up: when i watch the finished dvd on TV(sharp LCD), i can see scan lines along the outline of the subject specially when he makes a significant movement. can i eliminate it?

Which phone should I Get: Sony Ericsson W300i or Samsung SYNC? The Sony Ericsson W300i is free while the Samsung Sync is free and you get a $50 gift card. Samsung Sync has 2 megapixel camera and an mp3 player while the Sony Ericsson W300 has an mp3 player with FM Radio and it comes with a stereo headset but a standard VGA camera. Which memory would be cheaper: microSD or Memory Stick Micro M2 as the Samsung Sync takes microSD while the Sony Ericsson W300 takes Memory Stick Micro M2.
Is there an S-video cable to put my computer screen to play on a tv? My tv does not have an S-video input jack. It only has a coax input for cable, camera, anntena, vcr, dvd player. Are there chords that plug in the S-video out on my media center pc, that has at the other end a coax connector for my tv? (One store tried to tell me I need an LCD or Plasma tv to do this. I don't believe it.I think they just want me to fork over $thousands. I think LCD tv screens are nothing more than giant LCD watch faces made really big, that's all. Furthermore, lcd is with the face of a watch you can get for $1 at a dollar store. I think. Also, I've looked at HD-TV, LCD, and plasma, and I can not tell any much difference in picture quality. And, you have to be directly in front of the tv screen to see anything. Regular TV's you can be almost at a 90 degree angler to the side of it, and you still can see the picture. I also think HD audio is a farce, a gimmick, a joke, so we spend more money on audio equipment. Gimme a good stereo, cd player, audio cassette deck. I happy

Well i work at circuit city and right now im a merch ( basically just games, music, dvds, stereos) and i wanna move up to tech which is computers, cameras and mp3 players.. i have pretty good knowledge on them but i wanna know more about them. Car borken into and have comprehensive Insurance? Recently my car was broken into while we were asleep. They broke my passenger window, actually bent the surroundings of the window frame, stole my stereo, rip my dash, took my digital camera( which i'm really not worrying about b/c I have the pics stored on my computer). I filed a police report and insurance claim. The adjuster have already came out to take a look at the car. What will my insurance cover and what's next? I never had to file an insurance claim
Why did my car radio stopped working? One day my car stereo just stopped working. I was charging a camera on my cigarette lighter, using an adapter, and the cig. lighter input started sparking for a couple secs., then quit. After that....my lighter input doesnt work and may stereo has no power to it. I was thinking it was a fuse, so I changed them all and it still doesnt work. What could it be?

I would appreciate any advice about the sony ericsson G900.? Is it any good? I currently have an iphone, To be frank with you, I hate the iphone as it doesnt have stereo bluetooth nor can I recieve any mms plus the camera lags a lot too. I am seeking a phone that will be stable and that wouldnt break easily.Need something this time with a decent enough camera and with wifi. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are rechargeable batteries OK for TV/DVD/Stereo Remote controls? (NiMH or other)? I am looking to use rechargeable AA and AAA batteries in my TV, DVD and Stereo remote controls (trying to both save $$ in the long term and produce less trash). I believe that most NiMH batteries are designed for high power, quick use situations, like digital cameras, camcorders, portable CD players, etc. I am concerned that the batteries will lose charge over time, as remote controls use very little power and are only used for minutes a day. Does anyone have any technical expertise to provide suggestions? Thanks........

I have hard wired a computer into my house. It runs the lights inside and outside.? It from keyboards in each room I can controll everything from the TV, Stereo's, Video Security camera's, refrigerators, oven, etc... My problem is I can only get it to turn the air on or off and the heat on and off. Does anyone know where I can find a sight that i can visit to learn how to get a program to let me set the temperature with the heat and air?
what kind of security is best for an old but easily stealable/burgalarized car, with a nice stereo etc.? I have a '91 civic, the most stolen car in my province, and it has a nice stereo which would be easy to remove from the dashboard. It has no theft protection built in, and i'm planning on painting it and possibly getting nicer wheels, making it a good car to steal. Do you think that a simple flashing light on the dashboard and fake alarm stickers are enough, or would a more expensive system be neccasary? PS: it has been broken into 4 or 5 times before through the windows, and one time the trunk release was tampered with and $1000 cameras stolen from the trunk. Also, someone pried the passenger-side lock, and it no longer unlockes from the outside with a key.
