What is a good application for building 3D models? I like to build things on paper but i would like to see them in 3D, but i need a good application that can let you break down a model into what made the model, like a gun, you can break it down in an application that shows the upper and lower recievers of the gun. This would help me build things more and see what else i can do with the models and maybe build them in real life.
Where can I buy or order objects for building 3D models? I am going to have to make a 3D model of a clothing business store and I need tiny objects for decorating the store with equipment. 3D models don't look right on my computer? Not all 3d models look bad, just in certain programs, you can see the different triangles, and you can only see many of them at a certain angle. it very odd, and it makes building models very difficult.

I need help making models in a 3D graphical program!!? Does anyone know how to make really good 3D models?? I use a program called milk shape but i will buy any other program if it's better. What i want to do is use it to make things like furniture, clothing and other items that I can use in the sims 2. I know how to make the textures and put them all together in SimPE, but the thing that i need help with is creating the mesh in the graphical program. I don't understand how I can manipulate the shapes that I put on the design grid into having a unique shape. Do i need to drag each vortex separately 1 by 1 to build the shape I want?? This is the part that I have most trouble with, because when I try to drag each one there are some points which are impossible to select so my figure comes out looking deformed. A modelers game engine? A game engine where i can import my 3d models and create a game without programing? **Please read** ive been modeling and attempting programmking for 3 years now although, whenever i try to create a game, in any engine i awlays get stuck in programming i have brilliant 3d models i would love to put into a game as, the 3d modeling section of game design is where i excel. what im looking for is a game engine where i can import my models **easily** and then build a game using them without any programming, it will need to support fairly large amounts of polygons as i opt for best graphics. - i have also animated for a while in maya but it doesnt give the flare as games do as these intrest me much more. - i have tried fpsc and would be pleased if it worked better with my models and i could import them better, possibly with software that imported them for me. How to build a model of the respiratory system? 3d so that it would show all the organs and stuff. PLEASE HELP I'm working on it...by using this cardboard and then adding some play dough that is shaped into the heart and teh trachea but the bad thing is how do I make the model stand? Or what materials should I use for the model?

For a science project: what can I use that is shaped like an ear? I need to build a 3D model showing the inner, middle, and outer ear. Obviously, there is the option of clay, but i was wondering if anyone else can think of something that is already similar to the shape of an ear that I can use to build the model?
Is there a program that works kind of like 3D Home Architect, that allows you to create 3D Landscapes? I don't mean anything like 3D Home Architect or 3D Landscape Design. I'm talking about something like 3DS Max or Maya. Programs that can create 3D Environments, but more for beginners, for people who don't know how to create a 3D Modelled Environment, where all the templates are already built in, you would just have to pick the terrain, pick what you want in it, select the time of day, then it would do the rest. Anything out there like that?
What PC specs do i need for 2D and 3D architectural work, and a lot of photo work? I use a range in 3D modeling programs including Autocad, 3DS Max and Revit as well as photoshop, and paintshop. I am happy to build myself, just need a bit of assistance with what to look for spec and componant wise. Any help is appreciated.
