There is over 20 animated and 3D movies on IMDB's top 250, its like every one that comes out is up there for at least a year or so. All 3 Toy Stories are on there, out of all the thousands and thousands of good movies how did those 3 take up room on the best 250? Even on RottenTomatoes, they have Toy Story 2 as the best movie of all time.. Toy Story 1 is 4th best movie of all time.

My impression of a lot of these 3D movies I've seen is that they basically consist of two-dimensional objects placed three-dimensionally. EG, an actors nose does not protrude from their face three dimensionally, their face and body is flat, the 3D aspect of these films is that the 'flat' actor may appear in front or behind another object. Is my impression correct, or am I not seeing things properly?

How do they make 3D movies without red and blue glasses? My recent trip to Walt Disney World and Universal's Islands of Adventure brought 3D movies to my attention. All of the attractions utilized the same technologies to produce their 3D effects. The thing that really confuses me is that the glasses they give you aren't red and blue, they're kind of like sunglasses (and they're non-electronic), so how do they send each image to the correct eye? One thing I did notice with the goggles is that when I looked at my watch with a specific lens (the left I believe) my LCD watch face was completely black. However, with the other eye I could see my watch just fine. I'd guess they use some kind of light filtering in the the lenses that filter the frames that aren't supposed to be seen with that eye. Another thing I noticed is that when you take the goggles off the screen is really shaky. The closer stuff gets in 3D the further apart the images on the screen get, but I assume that method is used in the older blue and red films too?

Why Pixar/Disney 3D movies are always made to be wacky/kiddy? Most of the disney or Pixar, whatever, 3D movies are so kiddy and kind of stupid. They are never serious, it's almost always geared for kids . I have a electrohome basic tv....i just need to know what to do so that i can watch 3d movies like spy kids 3d for example on my tv with the 3d glasses.....i don't want to watch it as a normal dvd but rather as a 3d dvd...how can i do this? i have 3d glasses...but it's like, in theatres the differince between a regular movie and a 3d movie is like something they do with the movie...on the tv i know i have to change some settings or something to watch it in 3d but i'm not exactly sure what.

why no more 3D movies???? the last 3D movie i saw was freddies dead. Imiss the occasional 3D movie. does anyone else wish a 3D movie needs to come out soon... I mean who cares if its a peice of crap, everyone loves the 3D concept once in a while

watching 3d movies on television? can i watch a 3d movie like spykids 3d on a regular tv? will it show up as 3d or just rwgular?

Does anyone remember those 3D movies, you had to wear some weird glasses to...? So, I guess that since we have better technollogy they could release a new 3d movie. What do you think?
