I wear glasses and went to see a 3D movie at the cinema, only to find the little cardboard 3D glasses they were handing out, were far too small to fit over my glasses. I know of a number of people also put off seeing 3D movies because of this problem. It seems unusual that the entertainment industry is providing a medium that excludes so many people.

How do they make 3D movies without red and blue glasses? My recent trip to Walt Disney World and Universal's Islands of Adventure brought 3D movies to my attention. All of the attractions utilized the same technologies to produce their 3D effects. The thing that really confuses me is that the glasses they give you aren't red and blue, they're kind of like sunglasses (and they're non-electronic), so how do they send each image to the correct eye? One thing I did notice with the goggles is that when I looked at my watch with a specific lens (the left I believe) my LCD watch face was completely black. However, with the other eye I could see my watch just fine. I'd guess they use some kind of light filtering in the the lenses that filter the frames that aren't supposed to be seen with that eye. Another thing I noticed is that when you take the goggles off the screen is really shaky. The closer stuff gets in 3D the further apart the images on the screen get, but I assume that method is used in the older blue and red films too?

How can i get sound for 3d max, movies, and other projects?~? I am a designer, and i love 3dmax, filming and creating movies. But i want to know where to get sound effects for my movies. After viewing it I had a killer headache for a week. Then it was time for Terminator 3D, another 10 minute short. Why Pixar/Disney 3D movies are always made to be wacky/kiddy? Most of the disney or Pixar, whatever, 3D movies are so kiddy and kind of stupid. They are never serious, it's almost always geared for kids . I think that one with Tom hanks was nice, but aside from that , the ocean one was kiddy with wacky cheesy voice actors( Who are famous people)..and that Car one was also cheesy.
