Help on choosing a career path? Hello, like many people I'm trying to figure out my future and what college to go to/ what major, etc. Well I'm just coming here to get some insight on what I should focus on in college, because I'm not entirely sure on my career path yet. Currently I'm an upcoming sophmore in highschool, and here are some of my interests/hobbies: -Art (painting [digital and traditional,] drawing and everything else) -Animation (stopmotion and computer) -Technology (Engineering and design) -music (play some instruments) -Crafting (crochet, sewing etc.) -Science (mostly astronomy) -Writing (Really good at that but can't stay interested, haha.) -Photography and Photo manipulation *School Extracurricular activities include basketball, cross country, track, FCA, and Guitar club. My main concern is that I am a very creative person, however there isn't a high demand for any jobs revolving around creativity. Like my mother worked in house art renderings, but barely got paid anything and her company eventually died. I was talking to a professor at a university one day, and she told me that to be successful you will want to combine majors into one profession, as there should be a high demand, for example, a computer programmer that knows 3 foreign languages for international communication reasons, and has an graphic design degree. And that leads me to think i can have a high paying job that includes creativity if I were to look hard enough. So if you could give me insight on possible paths that would lead me to an well paying/enjoyable job, it would be great. Thank you!

Where can I find Architectural plans for Taiwanese houses? I recently started going back to school part time, trying to finish my architecture degree, and when my professor found out that I lived in Taiwan he gave me an assignment to design a full set of design plans and 3D renderings for various angles of the buildings interior and exterior. Even though I live in Taiwan I never actually paid much attention to the design of the buildings around me. So I am hoping some one can tell me where I can find blue prints, models, floor plans, anything like this that would help me to complete my assignment. I am not looking for anything fancy like Taipei 101 or the gigantic fancy houses suburbs of Taipei (mostly because they are too complex), rather I am looking for something like the normal 3-5 story houses, or even the traditional Chinese or Fukien style country homes. Anything that represents the houses that you see in Taiwan. Here are a few examples of the types of buildings that I am talking about. These are houses in Tainan in the An'Ping ~ (http://community.webshots.com/photo/full… This is a blinding of traditional and modern Taiwanese housing in Tainan County (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2165/2197… This a traditional style Taiwanese house I don't think that it is a Fujian style but still in the ball park~ (http://community.webshots.com/photo/full… This a modern style house in Taipei ~ (http://www.culture.gov.tw/d_upload_tca_p… This is a typical house in Taichung (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3458/3870… If anyone has any sort of useful information about this your help will be very appreciated.

Any Doctors...is incense harmful to inhale? I dont mean directly, but I bought some today, it claims to be of the finest ingredients. I just want to know if there is any harm in breathing in the scent to meditate. It is called MONEY HOUSE BLESSING Incense INDIAN SPIRIT, there are four different kinds in it which are their renderings of obsession, giorgio, drakkar noir, and eternity. It says made in Thailand by E Davis International
Could I get into a Master's in Architure program with a B.S. in Public Administration? I do have a collection of some projects I did, mostly renderings of Frank Lloyd Wright's The Robie House (axonometrics, plans, sectionals, elevations, 1 and 2 point). I also did some sketches for two architecture class (did not complete courses). I really want to get into Architecture. Need your advice. Thanks. P.S. The school I'm considering states I need to submit a 20-page portfolio. Any portfolio samples I can see online? Is there a store that is willing to help create your portfolio? Thanks again.
Which lead to use for under a watercolour? Hey everyone! I was hoping people who are experienced in watercolour paintings could give me advice their advice on the best lead to use for the underlying sketch to give a nicer finish to the overall painting. I'm torn between using HB and 2H, but I have my faults with both. 2H tends to scratch the watercolour paper and leave behind grooves on the page that you can see through the paint when I'm finished. I can't remember if HB lead tends to slight smudging when you colour, it's been a while since I've done one. I know these are minor things, but the paintings are a Christmas present for my boyfriend's parents. I really want to do a set of lovely watercolours but I'm just more used to rendering in graphite now. I'm studying architecture and recently handed in my end of semester portfolio, which were mainly graphite renderings. I'm painting various images of their beautiful house - they're very house-proud people. I've photographed and printed out the images I want to paint. They must be of a professional standard as I'm going to get them framed. I'd really appreciate if anyone whose used to watercolours to give me their opinions and advice. Thanks in advance, Eims
Dreams about mazes and lions? DREAM 1: So when I went to sleep the other night I dreamt about a lake. My family and I, not just my close family but every member all the way to second cousins, were at the lake near my house that we always go swimming in. On one of the wooden docks, there was a half-wall made of wood on the edge of the lake that wasn't usually there, with an awning type thing over it, like a market thingy. We were all talking but then everyone got quiet and ducked their heads under the wall. I barely looked over the wall to see a huge lion floating (???) on the surface of the water. It was really scary. It came across the lake slowly. For some reason, I was 6 instead of my real age (12). All of a sudden this rope came from the lion's mouth and grabbed all my family members, and the lion just swallowed them without even eating them. Then, I started crying and it could hear me so it came from behind the wall and crashed through it. It lunged at me, and I was crying, then I woke up, covered in sweat. DREAM 2: We were at this zoo. But it wasn't a regular zoo. Again, my whole family was there, the same people who had been in the last dream. Instead of regular ground, this place was indoors, there were only monkeys, and the ground was blue carpet with stars on it. There were little domes with lights buzzing in them all over the ground and the monkeys weren't in cages. Apparently we wanted to go to the garden so we followed the sign. At the entrance, there was a man in a red suit that told us to pull the giant plastic monkey's right arm off. They told ME to do that, and I did. We entered, and there were TONS of those little dome things. I touched one, and I started to fly around, kind of like pinball. Suddenly, we were on a tram in the sky, looking down at earth. We were all talking, then my sister fell off the tram and disappeared. My family started laughing (I was like WHAT?!?!) Then I woke up again. DREAM 3: Well this isn't one particular dream, but I keep having dreams about mazes. Like it will be just me and some random person who takes part in my life. Sometimes it's my friend, sometimes it's a stranger that stuck out to me on the street, sometimes it's my cousin. It varies. I am in a house, and there is a maze in it. I am terrified, but I don't know why, because I am never lost in the maze and there are no things to be scared of. But my cousin turned into a cow once. That was just weird. But anyway, one of the times I was with no one, just me. All of a sudden, I felt pain. I looked down and saw that I was on a cross. I heard people talking, and realized I was at the time and place where Jesus died (I am a strong Christian). I was not Jesus himself, but one of the other men on the cross. I saw men in robes (probably Romans) beating a man I recognized as Jesus. He did not look like any of the artistic renderings of Jesus I see today, but there was a thing about him, sort of an aura, that just TOLD me he was Jesus. I looked at him, and he looked terrible. All of a sudden, he looked at me and smiled. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my whole life and I just wanted to melt into his love, like a godly love, not like in a weird way or anything. It made me even more Christian, so Atheists please don't post any rude comments on here please. You can have your own opinion, but don't try to change other peoples' :) OK SO that was the last one. My other dreams are just pointless and weird. Sometimes I even laugh at them. SO SORRY THAT WAS REALLY LONG BUT I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DON'T SPEAK IN CORRECT ENGLISH IT JUST BOTHERS ME Thank you for reading this :D
did you see the hand that held their attention...(orbs included)? . and in the maelstrom a lithesome and nefarious jester, entered holding orbs of glass in one hand and a rod of steel between his teeth a third hand, held their attention, proclaiming "all those who deny, stand for your right to die" the King, amused with his suffering bride near by rose from the Seat of Minestrone, dusted off his Ruffles and pierced the glass orb left exposed, a gaseous emission emitted, one by two, the room was ravaged with noxious renderings the King released a liquidized substance, gold in hue, covering the suffering one as she pulled the Thorn of Credenza from her protruding opulence, Mercy was no where in sight feeling his oats and singular orb, the jocular jester removed his wig from House du Caress and revealed three sprigs of wheat germ, growing nearly as tall as the shepherds staff Lady Atnightly was perched upon in glowing display of her unused portions he smiled "come to me and allow my worldliness to surrender you" . . oh my...you get this...I think I have Norwegian Wood
Jason David Be-duhn The Awake magazine supposedly states that the new world translation is the best bible? Is this true. While it does say he said he disagrees with certain renderings of the translation it is still the most accurate is this true. If is not true does anyone know out there what parts he disagrees with. I got Jehovah Wittiness coming over to the house and i ask them what were the parts. And he said he did not care. You would think if you are basing your faith on a book you would want to know what they were. And i noticed they just list the one guy that says it is the most accurate. There are many more they say the opposite they don't mention.
Who have tried to cause Jehovah’s name to be forgotten? Christendom deserves the coming destruction for contributing to the spiritual illiteracy common among churchgoers and for its manifest hatred of God’s name. In the Middle Ages, God’s personal name was rather widely known in Europe. That name, represented by four Hebrew letters called the Tetragrammaton and commonly transliterated YHWH (or JHVH), appeared on coins, on facades of houses, in many books and Bibles, and even in some Catholic and Protestant churches. However, the trend in recent times is to eliminate the name of God from Bible translations and from other uses. One indication of this is the Letter to the Bishops’ Conferences on ‘the Name of God,’ dated June 29, 2008, issued by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. In it the Roman Catholic Church advised that the Tetragrammaton in its various renderings should be replaced by “Lord.” The Vatican instructed that God’s personal name should not be used or pronounced in hymns and prayers during Catholic religious services. And the leaders of other religions inside and outside of Christendom have also hidden the identity of the true God from millions upon millions of worshippers. http://www.adoremus.org/CDW_NameofGod.html http://acharlie.tripod.com/gtrin/jhvh.html
