3D tv.................? I have a Mitsubishi TV and it has 3D. I can turn on 3D mode which makes everything, look like what it should look like without glasses. Anyway my question is what do I need to buy to be able to watch regular TV, movies and video games in 3D. Do I just need glasses, or do I need to buy more? Why do we need TV's with 120hz to enable 3D? Why don't we just create a new format where instead of creating two pictures and shifting them to make the 3D image just make one image that looks like two pictures but is just one. I just think this is a stunt to make more money. If we can use mp4 and wmv, why cant we do the same for 3d images in a similar fashion. We would still be using raw videos if it wasnt for mp4 and all the other formats. Why is it that we need 120hz for 3D?

Is it possible to watch 3D movies without glasses? I just read that Panasonic is leading the race in developing 3D-TV's. This sounds pretty neat. I'm not sure if this means that you'll have to wear the little glasses or not though. Anyone remember a 1980 episode of That's Incredible where they turned regular TV into 3D before your eyes? They showed some lions on the plain, a football game clip and one other scene. It was invented by two guys who studied how the eye sees. The technoolgy was about the size of a briefcase. I watched it on a regular TV and it actually looked 3D with no glasses.

Hitatchi 46 inch Tv looks 3D? I bought this TV from a guy used and was told he couldn't get a picture on it, just sound. When I plugged it in and hooked up my reciever box to it, it had a picture but it looks 3D..yellow, red and blue shadows. My TV shows 3d like... Help? I have a 52" RCA HDTV model number R52WH74. Yesterday when my husband plugged in his playstation, the screen turned 3d like, with green yellow and red lines on the top of the tv. Everything else has this 3d glow around it with those colors. Why does my cat get mesmerized when he sees cats on TV? When my cat sees lions, tigers, and other cats on TV he gets completely mesmerized. Why is this? Is it the motion of the cats on TV? Plasma TV looking "too 3D" ? We just bought a new Samsung 50" Plasma. The contrast ratio on this thing is 15,000:1, as opposed to a lot of others I've seen are 10,000:1. Is this the reason why when I watch movies on the movie channel that things look TOO 3D? It is like, the people and objects close to the camera look oddly seperate from the background. The quality is "beautiful" but it just looks odd. Can this be adjusted, or is this normal for a HD Plasma with resolution of 13## X 9## (forgot the actual numbers but you get the point)
