Is there a good free 3D CAD system available?

Hi, I'm familiar with SolidEDGE and have used other CAD systems to make 3D models. Now I'm out of work, and don't have access to CAD any more. Is there a free CAD package out there that will let me draw in 3D Thanks

1. You may want to install FreeBSD to a computer and use the ports collection. You will need an x86, 2G Ram, and 250G hard drives, cd-rw. This will be enouigh to set up and run CAD-like programs.
