- go on wikipedia, look up the Duoble helix structure (dna) i did one like 2 years ago and all idid was go on wikipedia.org
- If you are rich you can get a chemistry model kit: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=blended&field-keywords=chemistry%20model%20kits&results-process=default&dispatch=search/ref=pd_sl_aw_tops-1_blended_14942234_1&results-process=default If not, I would go to a hobby store and buy some small styrofoam balls (like you would use for a model solar system) and some small plastic sticks that you can cut and some paint. You might be able to use ping-pong balls and small sticks and a hot glue gun also. Or you could go the candy route and use gum balls and pixie sticks! Have fun!
- Michaels Art's & Crafts has a DNA Kit http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=kd0693 Or you can use styrofoam balls and popsicle sticks
- Try using candy it's simple all you need is: Twizlers Toothpicks gummy bears Okay? now use a color gummy bear to represent each Thymine, cytosine, adenine, and guanine. Remember Thymine forms with adenine, and cytosine forms with guanine. Now put the heads together on the toothpick and let the butts at the ends. Match them all up and then stick them into the Twizlers. Twist and done.
- do you know anyone who uses 3d modeling software like autodesk inventor or Solidworks
