i need to build a 3d element model of sulfur and I need to know what i would use to represent the orbits, etc.
protons electrons and neutrons where would i go to get all these stuff too? like michaels?

- I might do something like a big styrofoam ball for the nucleus. Then glue small things (like beads) to represent the protons and neutrons (diff color for each). Then take some sort of wire and stick it in the styrofoam ball. One for each electron. Position the wires so they line up in orbitals. So the first two will be one length, the second orbital will have wires of a different length etc. Any craft store, or even a place like Wal-mart should have this stuff.
