what is the best computer program for creating 3D models?

ive been trying to find a program for my computer on which i could create 3D models of thigs. if anyone knows of a good program that does this PLEASE tell me.

1. well theres alot, autocad, mastercam, pro e.. but the best i think for modelling is cathia.. quite expensive!!!...
