Need help & advice to build a HIV virus 3D model!?

I have to build a HIV virus 3D model for my science class. The links below are some examples of HIV virus model. I like the first one. But I don't know how to build it. What kind of materials should I use to get a HIV virus model. Any helpful suggestion is appreciated. 1. How about using Jello for the big outer lipid layer; put half a coconut husk for the second layer; fill up the coconut husk with another flavour of jello for a different colour and something else to hold the middle section of another jello flavour embedded with a couple strands of instant noodles and cherries. ... complete the outside with Hershey's kisses (be careful of breaking the outer jello layer though).
