Which 3D glasses do i need to watch a IMAX 3D movie?
Will any 3D glasses work? the red and green ones? or is it the ones that disney use that look like clear lenses?

- they'll supply it at the theater.
- if your watching an imax movie, you'd need the clear ones similar to the one Disney uses. I don't think the red and green ones would work. the system use different technologies. it should be no problem since imax theaters provide the glasses when you watch a movie.
- Depending on the IMAX Theater you go to, depends on the type of glasses. IMAX does not use the old red and blue glasses. They have two different types. They have a polarized pair that matches polarized filters built in to the projector, and they have electronic glasses that have shutters on them that close and open working off a signal sent from the projector. The IMAX theater will provided the glasses as you go into the movie. The polarized ones they let you keep, but the electronic ones are turned back in. I included a link to wikipedia, so you can see the electronic glasses that some IMAX theaters use. You can also go to IMAX.com, and they have a complete description of both glasses and a picture of the polorized under "How it Works?" "IMAX 3D".
- The cinemas usually provide the glasses for the movie.
- I dunno. Perhaps you should go to specsavers.
- I'm pretty sure the theatre will provide you with a pair of 3D glasses. At Disneyworld, there was a 3D movie theatre and they provided us with 3D glasses and also asked us to return them by the end of the show.
- IMAX movies are digital 3D. This means that the glasses you will need are the clear lens glasses, not the red and cyan tint 3D glasses. Trust me though, any 3D movie that you see in IMAX is 100% worth it.
- they will come with the film.
