3D - 2

TMNT question?

do you think that if they HAD to make a 3D movie again they should use Anime Style 3D animation? cuz american cartoon characters look ugly and deformed (jimmy neutron for example), whereas anime characters look cool and stylized (final fantasy for example).

  1. well i totaly agree with you but that stuff was kind of old because they had an anime serries and most of there other movies where great so i dont realy think it would happen
  2. I kinda liked the movie. I think that they were trying to appeal to the younger crowd with that type of animation. Usually, anime is geared towards teens and young 20's
  3. It's all about personal preference. What might look bad to you, looks good to someone else. Sorry to tell you, but most kids in the US fully enjoy their "ugly and deformed" cartoons as you so eloquently put it.
  4. I think they will definitely anime style because the previous TMNT movie was quite uglily illustrated. I'm not criticising the company which made the TMNT movie but it's the truth.
  5. Movies that look like that appeal more to kids. Plus that style sped up the production time.
  6. the animation isnt a style, its an artists version, and this one happened to look like that, not all 3D american animation looks funky, out machines are awesome
  7. How many times are you going to ask this question? Anime characters look deformed with those huge eyes, mouths that go from really tiny to covering up the entire lower part of their face in a few frames, huge cartoonish breasts and giant spiky hair. Anime characters are always shaking and sweating. Sure, anime characters look sooooooo great.
  8. Hmm...I think that deformed style appeals to young children, Gah I hate Jimmy Neutron >.<. But I agree that anime style animation looks way way better, definately more realistic and in proportion. =D
