How to put 3d models on a website.?

I remember there was a program a couple years ago that took 3d models and saved them so you could put them on a web page for others to view in 3d form. Does anyone remember the name of this program by any chance? Well I am not looking to make gif files then I would just print screen. This program saves the file so the viewer can move the model around and view the model from all angles by just clicking on it with a mouse and dragging. I use to have it but forgot all about it and now I need it but i have a new machine and can't find it anywhere.

1. Most of the 3d programs now-a-days let you save your work in .jpg or .gif format for you to post on any website. So any one of them should work for you.
