What software can I use to create 3D Renderings?

Can I use AutoCAD? I need it for Architecture Renderings I need it for Architecture Renderings

1. You should use openGL rendering
2. 3d max, maya, rhino, etc... depends on what you want to do
3. A good starter software is ULEAD 3D Production Studio. Here is the site and free trial. http://www.ulead.com/c3ds/runme.htm I think it is the best entry level 3D software. They also sell Cool3D 3.X which is a watered down program.
4. povray http://www.google.com/search?q=povray this program has no drawing tools. it creates a 3d image from source code and mathematics
