3D - 2

What should I study in school?

I just graduated from a community college with an Associates Degree in Architecture. Im not sure I want to be an Architect, so I was wondering what other fields I could go into with this title. I enjoy doing 2D and 3D renderings and working with photoshop, so what kind of bachelors degree would be suitable for me?

  1. Have you considered the film industry? It won't be too long until locations will all be computer enhanced. Use your talent to build your perfect city- on the computer... commercials, print media, or how about low cost, functional, ecologically friendly homes for disaster victims- there's gotta be something better than trailers (duh). Young, ambitious, genius- just make your dream big enough for God to get a hold of and the sky is truly the limit. Good luck & God bless.
  2. well you could major in visual arts or something, and then work for a movie company... like in animations?
  3. You could major in interior design and get a job at an architect firm doing 2 and 3 D renderings. I went to school for interior design and took the 2 and 3D classes but would never want to do that part of the job and if you work in a firm you wouldn't have to. Also, what about graphic design? That would be more of the photoshop thing.
  4. i actually read an article recently about how roolar coaster designers like to hire people with architecture degrees. a rollar coaster engineer would put a fun use to your degree. even the world of video games or robotics could use more architects. (not to mention remodeling, interior design, and things of that nature.)
  5. biomechanics
