Is there a program I can use to do 3D models..? More info inside.?

I am planning on doing some Megaman legends 3d models, but I am looking for a program to do it. Any suggestions? If anyone could find a program similar to Second Life's modeling tools, it would be great, but if not, share the ones you know. The easiest the better =D

3. Yeah ur basically looking for Cad program, if your looking for something like computer video game looking go for maya 7.0 kinda hard to use but makes sweet 3d models
4. here are some bunch >3d max >3d viz >maya >poser >swift 3d >autocad all of those can make 3d animation too except autocad.

6. i've been using autodesk's 3Dstudio Max for almost 5 years now and i've been more than satisfied with my models and the ease of doing them. I had my own zero ( from megaman ) model. but none else from the series. from modelling, rendering, rigging to animation and production. you've got all of that in one smooth package. and better yet if you get the version 8 ( which i am currently using ). that's hell cool. you'll be making garments/ clothing and hair in no time at all.
7. More for the list. Google Sketchpad, great free 3D modeling tool. Qavimator, like Poser, for doing people and animated people. You also need something for textures, such as Photoshop or Gimp.
