if my wife gets a 3D ultra sound at 17 1/2 weeks what are the chances of us finding out the sex????

2. its possible from around 16 weeks i believe although not so likely until around the 20 week mark, but with a 3d scan its certain it may be accurate. i know someone who found out through 3d at 16 weeks so im sure you can if you dont have a shy baby. good luck.
3. chances are very good if the baby is willing to cooperate. sometimes they can be stubborn and hide the private parts.
4. Theres a pretty good chance. the can tell you as long as ur over 15 weeks preg.

6. With a 3d she should be able to tell without a doubt. And it will be very clear at wut the baby looks like. You can even tell who the baby looks like. I had one with my son and he looked jus tlike his dad. Same indent in the chin. same big head and some nose hehe... Good Luck!
7. If the baby cooperates, very good. I had a regular 2-D u/s at 15w 5d and we were able to tell.
8. When we were pregnant with our son the doctor knew we wanted a boy so she said we would wait til the 20 week mark so we could tell for sure if it was a boy or not!! With a 3D they might be able to tell but I would try to wait a couple more weeks it you can!!

10. you really shouldnt get a 3d ultrasound at 17 weeks because its too early. I went to get a normal ultrasound at 18 weeks and they couldnt tellm e the sex. They made me come back at 20 weeks for a sure answer. i called a 3d ultrasound place and they only do them between 26 and 32 weeks because any earlier then that the baby is not all developed and they dont want the mother worrying. Im scheduled for one May 31st and i will be 33 weeks by then. A week late but they are stillg oing to do it.
11. the docs say that around week twenty the sex should make itself known, but you know there's always that chance that the baby might be shy that day. a regular ultra sound should be able to tell you the same information, though the 3-d ones are really awesome to look at. good luck gigi

14. chances at 17 1/2 weeks and being 3D are pretty good as long as the baby cooperates and doesnt get shy and shut its legs the whole time.
