  1. no i dont think its too early
  2. I was told that 24 to 32 weeks gives you the clearest view because the baby is neither too big or too small. It is an amazing experience and I am glad that you are able to have it done. Good Luck!
  3. 3d ultrasounds are so cool, i was a high risk pregnancy and so i got one every month--it was great, i went starting at 13 weeks and even then it was neat to see your baby--so 19 weeks would be fun, the further you get it will be hard to see your baby move because there is not much room for your little one if your wait too long--you can also get the sex of the baby at this point---so i would go sometime between now and abt 24 weeks to get a fun showing of him/her--have some juice or sweet snack(cookies)before you go so you make sure he/she is awake for it!!
  4. Normally 20 to 22 weeks you could do that!!
  5. I had a regular ultrasound done on my son at 15 weeks and saw him sucking his thumb in the womb. I had another regular ultrasound done at 18 weeks and saw his little boy parts. I think 19 weeks for a 3D/4D will show a lot! and 99.9% chance it will show the sex of the baby (if he/she is in the right position during the filming) .. I waited until 24 weeks to get the 3D/4D, but only because I had already had regular ones. All the 'parts' are there and formed at 19 weeks; they're just tiny. Nothing more will be developed after 19 weeks; they'll just get bigger. It's up to you on whether or not you want to see a bigger or smaller baby. If you're anxious, go now! Enjoy it .. A couple weeks won't make much of a difference. But here is a tip! EAT SUGARY FOOD BEFORE YOU GO! They gave me chocolate candy during my 3D/4D ultrasound and my baby started dancing in the womb!! :)
  6. its not too early but why dont u wait for the baby to come so u can really c what he or she looks like.
  7. I have a 3d/4d scan scheduled for when I am 29 weeks. They said that's a perfect time to go since the fat will be evened out, we'll be able to see almost exactly what the baby looks like. Anything too early will be a waste they said. If you go to www.wombwithaview.com (that's where I have mine sceduled for) they have a calendar at the bottom right of the main page where you click on your due date. It will highlight the best time for you to get it done. Good luck and congrats. :)
  8. I would wait a little longer. I got the 4D done about 20 weeks and you could clearly see him, but he just didn't look fully developed. I think you'd enjoy it more when your baby's body is more filled out and well, looks more like a little baby. This is what my baby's face looked like in the ultrasound: http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/7836/4dan3.jpg See what I mean?
  9. yes best time would be around 24-34 weeks as i read!
  10. Between 25-32 weeks is better because at 25 you can get more "action shots" and by 32 you can actually see babies facial features and compare them to after he or she is born. its the cutest thing! At 19 weeks the baby doesnt have much baby fat yet soyou still see a skeletal image.
  11. its not too early for a gender check however, dont do it at 19 weeks because your baby might look weird to you and cause you worry where you shouldnt be...heres a great place that shows you different examples of babies at various weeks, it might help =) im going to this place, and around here they have an EXCELLENT reputation for getting awesome pics.
