when u go in for a ultra sound when do they do th 3d one?

1. ??? pretty sure they only do 2. one at 3 months and one at 20 weeks. thats all i have ever known unless there is complications
2. Most doctors office you still have to pay for the 3D ultrasounds but if you do have one they like to wait until you are like 28-30 wks preg., especially if you are paying for it!!! I am sure all docs are different though
3. They never do a 3D/4D one at your OB's office. You can go to one of those fancy 3D/4D clinics for one of those. You will get a scan around 20 weeks, but I believe it's considered 2D.
4. Doctor's usually don't do the 3d u/s. Least not in my area. That is something you'd have to call around, and set up. You also need your doctors permission to receive this u/s. It's best to get a 3d during 30+ weeks.
5. I'm pretty sure that is somthing you have to pay for and it isn't done by professionals they can't tell you if they see somthing wrong with the baby. It is only for you to see what the baby looks like and I think they give you pics along with a video. I had tried to get a video tape of my daughter and my doc told me no he didn't like doing that nor did he want me to go get that done I don't know why every doc is different.
