When I watch 3D movies it hurts my eyes and I get a headache, why?

I wear the 3D glasses over my glasses, and it feels like I'm having a hard time focusing and I get a headache after a while.

1. because the image seems so real that it just blows your mind!
2. You should wear the 3d eyeglasses on your ears, not sticking them into your eye!:)
3. it is because your eyes are seeing to different images and then they put them together. You have to focus more or the picture that you get will not be right. It gives you a headache from the colors on the glasses and all the different images.
4. because your eyes are trying to hard to focus i do it to take the glasses off after a while before the headache sets in your straining your eyes to much
5. i think it hurts because its really bright and different colors is the color blue and red or just silver well okay bye i think thats why it hurts bye
6. you're just sensitive. i have trouble alot with movies because they're all digital these days and it hurts my eyes, no matter how clear the picture is
7. you are straining your eyes. One sees diff from the other which is why each eye piece is diff. color. Try closing one eye and the 3D effect is gone.
