  1. im 25 weeks and not showing much at all hun! n my 20wk scan showed my little girl was growing perfectly fine! if its your first you might not even show properly until your like 7 months! 18wks my stomach was completely flat it dosnt mean anythings wrong =P jsut means youve got strong stomach muscles so its not sohwing or shes positioned closer back to spine which is no problem! plus if its your first baby people always take longer to show as your body isnt used to changing as it hasnt done it before!
  2. Right side while sleeping allows the baby to get more oxygen so Ive heard, dont know if this is true or not. Sitting can be uncomfortable while pregnant. I started getting uncomfortable at 8 weeks, but I had twins. Womens bodies change differently. Some women have what they think are periods and dont show until 7 mos. Others, like me, see 'pregnant' on the digital monitor and get square over night. Dont concern yourself that you arent showing yet. If the dr. says your baby is healthy, I would just count your blessings =)
  3. Don't worry about it. I am 20 weeks and just started showing.
  4. With both of my pregnancies, I didn't show until I was at least 18 weeks. It is perfectly normal. As for how much he will sleep - they do get very active in the second trimester and have plenty of room to move about it, so in this trimester you will feel more movement than the other two. However, the baby also spends quite a fair bit of time asleep, too!
  5. get on ur hands and knees that will bring the baby forward, some babies sit far back toward ur back so go on ur hands and knees on and off and that should start bringing ur baby forward and u should start to get a bump. also helps get ur baby in a good position for when he'll engage. its hard to say how much ur baby will sleep in the second trimester coz no one really knows if they r asleep or not but I'm guessing ur asking because your trying to work out how often you should feel him move? if so a general rule is as long as u feel 10 movements a day then all is fine, chances are you'll feel 100 thousand in a day, wriggly little things lol. if ur worried and wanna keep a check on ur little one then get a Doppler. i got one from eBay for £20 and used it every day was fab! some days ur little one will be quiet coz they do have 'sleepy' days but just make sure ur getting some movement on and off in the day. also a tip if he's still and u want to feel him move, try drinking a fizzy drink or eat marmite (if ur a lover not a hater lol) that would get my daughter bouncing around lol.all the best x
  6. It is totally fine that you are not showing. I didn't until 24 weeks and I had to be bare to tell. You could have strong stomach muscles, but you could also have something called a tilted uterus. That is just where your uterus is tilted in one direction and your casy may be that it is tilted towards your back. (That is me) IT took until the baby was big enough to make it poke more towards the front. Anyway, It is your Left side that you would lay on to give the baby more oxygen, not right. That doen't really have anything to do with your question. Try sitting in a lazy boy and lean back a bit. You can also try if you have to sit for your job or something to get a lumbar type support for your back. Babies are all different with the amount of wiggling that they do. Usually I found that when I was up moving around, mine would be more calm and when I sat down or went to bed, they would start their wiggling. (Kind of like they were being rocked to sleep during my busy times) Good luck and I am sure that you are ready to show off your extended belly, but it will come soon enough! :)
