I just got a new computer but i have no sound?

I hooked everything up and everything is running fine but i have no sound. Its also a gaming computer so i no it has a sound card and the sound card is 3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard But how do i get it wroking? How do i download a driver? I have my headset hooked up And when i plug em in i here the speakers go on so its no them www.ibuypower.com Cant find it!

1. well, where did you get it? go to manufactures website and search audio drivers
2. umm you do have speakers hooked up, right? you didn't mention if you did or didn't so i thought i would ask. if you do. check your settings, sometimes the default is really low. and go to the manuf's website and lookup the model and download that driver. should be under downloads or support or the like
3. Maybe your sound system is broken. Or did you drop the computer package when delivering it to your home? This may have damaged it. Try asking a technician or the sales person about it. They may be able to help you. I'm not too sure on how to download a driver but I hope this helps! :)
4. did you put it on mute or something? , turn the sound up if it doesnt work then return it.

Have you tried going to Control Panel > then Sound Device ---> see if there is something is not proper. > click 'advance' on that Sound Device pop-up ---> see if there is something wrong (ex. the mute check box has a check so you have to uncheck the mute check box). If those didn't work, try this: Click Start > Run > type "dxdiag". A pop-up shows. Wait until it loads up. Then go to the sound system tab if there are any problems.
6. download the drivers... if that doesn't help get the motherboard checked. because in sound problems, if its not the software then it is the motherboard!
