Problem with my sound card.Need new drivers.Where?

I have one Realtek High Definition Audio output.I play Need for speed carbon and i probably have problem with the exe because of the Sound card.I downloaded the drivers from realtek and nothing.Anyone who knows a 3d party driver good for my sound card?Like omegadrivers for the vga???Or any solution on the problem with the game.Any needed information i will give u if u want to. The sound is fine at the pc.And at game.But in some circuits the games crashes with a repeated sound which meens my sound card could not support the sound of game at this place.I need better driver for it. Maybe its the game because i saw the site u suggested and the driver i have downloaded is newer than the available there.I will give u the best answer.

1. have you tried just typing in sound card drivers

Is it only NFS CArbon that doesn't play sound? how about your system sounds? or music from Media Player? if none work, then go to your device manager (Right-click My Computer and click manage, then click on device manager) and check if any of your devices has a question mark. This should let you know if your driver is available or not. If other sounds besides the game works, then you might wanna re-install the game. But if not, then your driver is malfunctioning.
