Computer Video Card?

The computer I'm using keeps receiving messages when i try to play 3d game saying that it doesn't have a video card. Is there any way of downloading a video card off the internet or can I only get it installed. I know that i downloaded my sound card off the internet.

1. You have to buy a new video card if you don't have one; you can't really run a computer without a video card so maybe install the latest drivers for it.
2. There is no way to download a graphics card online, if you need a new one, youll have to go to Best Buy, or Circut City. To replace a graphics card you need to open your computer and actually take it out and place the new one in, so you'll have to go out and buy one.
3. You can't download a "Video Card" off the internet. You can download what are called "Drivers" for video cards. That is the software the video card uses to work on a PC. When updates are made you can download new drivers and install them on your PC. If you want to see what your PC has. Right-Click mouse over the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Click "Properties" and when the window opens click the "Hardware" tab then the "Device Manger". In the next window click on the "Display Adapters" icon to see what Video Card is on your PC. You can then Right-Click on the video card name and choose "properties" this will give you a summary of your video card settings. It could be that your video card is not powerful enough to run the 3D games you are trying to play. Check the game box vs what your PC tells you.
4. What do you have your monintor plugged into? Go to the device manager to see if it is installed.The video card is a hardware device not a software problem you cannot download a hardware device you will have to buy one, Try removing and reinstalling the device drivers for the video card you do have a video card in your computer that is what your monintor is plugged into go in system tools and system information see what kind of video card you got you might have to replace it..
