why is my pc doing this to me after i treated it so well?

This is the requirements for this game Supported OS: Windows 2000/XP/XP-x64/Vista Processor: Pentium IV 1.6GHz / AthlonXP 1600+ Graphics: 3D accelerator 16 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c or better Memory: 256 MB (512 MB with Vista) Sound: 16 bit DirectX compatible sound card Hard Drive: 750 MB free disk space and these are my specs: 768 mb of ram ati radeon 9550/X1050 SERIES amd sempron +3100 processor at 1.81 GHz yeah my pc is 5 yrs old. but whenever i try to launch this game, it just doesnt launch. and i restarted my pc and re-launched it. and still doesnt launch... counter-strike and hitman 2 works fine but idk whats wrong with this. i just download it from steam. i have wxp home edition. this game is called trackmania nations forever.

1. Uninstall/Reinstall.
2. you could try to update you system the uninstall restart then install
3. There must be something wrong when you downloaded it. Some files could be corrupted or destroyed during the transfer. What I can see if you gave me the right specs of the game and pc, it should work fine so it leaves to the software error and not a hardware related issues.
