After downgrade HP Pavilion dv6439nr from Vista to windows XP, sound issues.?
After downgrade HP Pavilion dv6439nr from Vista to windows XP, sound issues. No voice coming and also graphic screen resolution soo bad. Its having NVIDIA GeForce 6150M Video Graphics and Altec Lansing speakers 3D Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound 16 bit integrated. More config can be found at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?docname=c01278432&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN. Pls suggest if anyone found solution for any similar problem. I searched for drivers at all company site but couldn't found. Thanks - Vivek

- Here are some drivers you'll need to download, since you swtched to XP. But it does appear you may still be missing other drivers. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3619365&lang=en Not every computer that has vista on it, will be able to support XP drivers. It is one of the down falls to buying a vista installed computer and then downgrading to xp.
- You should do some homework about drivers availability for XP before you downgrade. Why did you downgrade anyway, because other people said Vista sucks?
