Is this a good laptop both for playing games, and installing an oracle database?

I'm thinking of buying an hp pavillion 6820. I don't know if these specifications will be good playing games, also i might need to install an oracle database on it. will it run soomthly?   1. well depending on how you configure it and how big your database file is with oracle id say you can make it work reasonably well to a screeming fast unit all by configuration but see if you can find a bigger size and faster speed hard drive 300 gigs and 7200 rmp if you can afford it
  2. 8400M GS is not a very good card for gaming, but it will run most recent games at low or medium detail at 1024x768 or lower resolutions. 8600M GT (or a GS) would be better. As for the Oracle DB, yes it will work smoothly since you have plenty of RAM.
