How much does it cost to fix a Samsung rear projection TV when the picture looks like everything is in 3D?

1. If you are talking about a CRT rear projection you may be able to fix it yourself. It sounds like the TVs guns need to be converged( the red, blue and green CRTs have drifted and don't point to the same place). To converge the CRTs go into the menu and look for a convergence function. Once there you will be able to align red with the center and the blue with the center. You may be able do a more complete convergence if the TV has a multi-point convergence. Check your manual for convergence. List the model number of the TV for more accurate info.
2. This sounds like a convergence problem. If this problem happened suddenly and noone has messed with any controls your convergence board is probably defective. I would say about $350 would probably be a somewhat conservative estimate. This adjustment of convergence settings can be rather involved if it goes beyond the customer control adjustments however giving it a shot couldn't hurt as long as you know how to do it.
