do you think those TOTO or 4D predicting books/booths/fortune tellers are ridiculous??? if they can predict .... why would they still be slogging it out in their own occupation

3. Its just buying a hope ... I think most of these people already know that the only thing these book can predict is a winfall for the publishers. But buying it gives the buyers a hope of getting something themselves and isnt that what life is all about? Having something to strive for ... Just my 2 cents

9. They are actually very smart people. If I am a fortune-tellers, all I need to do is to give 50 customers each with a different set of 4D numbers, asked them to buy the same number for 2 weeks, there is 69% chances 1 of them will strike a prize. I will tell the rest of the 49 customers their luck is still on the way to come, but the 1 customer who striked, he will possibly bring me another 49 customers. This is a game of probabilities and chances. Therefore, people who believed are more ridiculous.
