Going by the result of my last ultrasound 2D ultrasound, i am now 28 weeks pregnant.?
My question is, would this week be a good time to have a 3D/4D fetal imaging?... my last ultrasound result showed that i am going to have a baby boy... but i want to make sure... could the sonographer have been wrong at 24 weeks? that's actually my purpose for doing a 3d/4d imaging... to add to my baby's "predelivery" pictures...i jus thougt that maybe i could see the gender more clearly at 28 weeks...by the way, if im 28 weeks, how many months nd weeks am i?

- The sonographer can ALWAYS be wrong. Even at 40 weeks. The only 100% certain method of identifying the sex is delivering the baby! However, as for your 3d/4d question, my sister had hers at about 32 weeks. The picture was amazing. The site by me that does them will do them any time after 25 weeks, so you should be ok!
- I am not sure but I don't think it can hurt to ask. Your doc can prob give you a better idea as to whether it would be woth it or whether you would be better off waiting for the next one.
- Most of the info I have read about the 3d/4d says that the best time to get one is about 24-33 wks, so it should be perfect for you.
- they are never 100% sure when trying to deturman what the sex is. but if you want to have a 3D one you will be able to tell for sure. 3D ultra sounds look great
- It is highly unlikely that he diagnosed the gender wrong at 24 weeks. The stories about people buying baby things and then having to take everything back because it wasn't what they thought are blown completely out of proportion. The only time it gets a little more difficult to determine the gender of the baby is when there is multiple fetus'. As far as the 3D/4D ultrasounds..Don't use that as "reassurance". They are marketed more as "keepsakes". Wait till the baby is about 30 + weeks or so that way you get a better 3D/4D image
