4d ultrasound good or bad?

I hate to say it but im an US addict , everything i can do to see my baby id kill for it. my dr was so confident that everything is ok with my pregnancy, so the last time i was pregnant i only had one with her. i had to do 3 more 4d ultrasound which is ofcourse not covered by my insurance. I dont mean tp scare people but 4 mo into my pregnancy the cord of the baby was wrapped around her neck already, they said it will come off itself since shes very active. if they would have paid attention to the cord being there since 4 months they cpuld have gottten the baby out sooner as i waited 40 weeks and the day i was gonna have her NO HEARTBEAT. so my question is it good that they have the 4d US since u can get a clear pic or is it bad since they dont really talk to ur ob about the results?

1. Well, if you're doing it because you're scared something might be going on or you're scared of the baby dying, then I think you might have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I don;t blame you, that was an awful thing that happened, but you can;t live in fear for the rest of your life. So I say don't do extra ultrasounds. Maybe get some counseling to deal with the loss of you baby. I'm so sorry!
2. its ok. u just want 2 no how ur baby's doing. i'd do the same thing if i was in ur place, but i have 2 wait a while. lol. good luck and congrates.
3. the 4D ultrasound are for your personal use only. the only thing they do this take pics of the baby for you. if you are worried about the health of your baby then the doctor should schedule you to have a regular sonogram done. the 4D wouldnt be any help to you in that situation. good luck with your baby.
