Have you had a 3D/4D ultrasound?

Were you happy with the results? We had one done on Thursday, and to be honest, I'm kinda disappointed. I guess its like everything else, nothing is like it seems on TV or ads.

1. I was excited about ours. We got a really good face shot, and the baby was either doing the "number one" sign or giving us the finger :)
2. I want to get one so bad but there is no point in me getting one because my baby never looks at the camera so therefore it would just be a was of time, for me
3. how far along are you? The tech that did mine told us that the best pictures con around 30-32 weeks because the baby is a little bigger and it is easier for them to get the picture. I have had one at 20 weeks and it wasn't that good either. She had to "cut" a lot of the picture away to get to her face. I also had one at 30 weeks and you could really see her face, although she had her legs crossed over her face. I'm getting my last ultrasound on monday, so we'll see what that is like. If you are still early, maybe you can ask for another ultrasound around 30 weeks or so...
4. I had one done when i was pregnant and my son pulled some really cute faces which we got photos of. He still pulls some of these faces now and he is three!
5. LOL I had a 3d picture done with my first child...it was neat...but I swear I was so scared my child was gonna come out looking like some kind of red bubble troll...I'm so glad she didn't.. but it was still interesting.. it makes me wonder what we will be able to see in 3d/4d pictures 20 years from now.. or if there will be a whole new kind all together.

7. I didn't get one done because all of my friends have and I think ALL of their photos look the same. It just looks like a baby made out of clay... haha And the crazy part is....their babies didn't even look anything like the US they had done. haha
8. im 30 weeks now & i wanted one but there bit expensive & in all my other normal scans my baby was being bit boring & not showing or doing much well not on the photos anyway! so we did'nt bother although we still occasionally wonder if we should we would probably feel the same as u?
