how soon can you tell the sex of your baby with a 3d 4d ultrasound scan?

I just had my first 3d 4d ultrasound scan at 10 weeks. Is it too soon to tell the sex of my baby? I have a really good shot of him/her and there appears to be a little something poking out down there so it looks like it could be a boy! Are the genitals even formed at 10 weeks of age?   1. Looking at the picture it's definitely too early to tell. Usually you can't tell until at least 18 weeks. Just wait it out and you'll know soon enough. Congrats on your pregnancy, good luck and God bless.
  2. i think the latest technology can tell the gender of ur baby in 5 months.. and this one is accurate too.
  3. It's just too soon, honey. Give it 4-6 more weeks and you'll have a 90% shot at the right idea.
  4. Reproductive organs are among the last to form. By the middle of month 3, girls have developed ovaries and boys have formed testes in the abdomen, but the external sex organs still look the same at this stage. In the middle of the fourth month (plus or minus 18 weeks) is when the genitalia become distinctly male or female. In this case, I think that it's too early to tell for your baby. Plus, if the sonographer were able to tell if it was a boy or girl, they would have told you.
  5. the genitals are starting to form, but not enough for you to be able to tell. you can usually be pretty sure around 16 or 18 weeks.
  6. i think it's alittle too early to tell yet. i found out that i'm having a boy at 16 weeks. the doctor said normally between 16-20 weeks is when you normally can tell.

  8. i think you'll need to wait a bit longer. i just found out at 15wks 4 days that i'm having a little boy and it was definately clear and it wasnt a 3d/4d scan either. so i'd say within a month you should probably be able to find out
