How soon can you have a 3D or 4D ultrasound with the possiblilty of know the sex?

1. about 16 weeks
2. Same time frame as a 2D ultrasound 16-20 weeks at the earliest.
3. babys look very much the same untill around 17-20weeks no matter which scan you have
4. I would say 15 to 16 weeks for a 3 or 4-D

6. I waited until I was 27 weeks to be on the safe side for my 3D, because at that time it cost alot of money to have it done. Some of my friends had it done at 16-18 weeks and the pics did not come out as well as ours did since we waited. It is so beautiful to see your baby inside you, and once my child was born my baby looked just like the 3D pics. It is AMAZING!!!
7. the earliest I've ever heard of anyone finding out the gender with 3d or 4d was 16 weeks. A lot of it has to do with the position and amount of activity of the baby during your ultrasound session. Once you get about 18-22 wks it is very easy to determine the gender of the baby. congrats if you are expecting : )
8. Your OB will probably schedule an ultrasound between 18-22 weeks. If the baby cooperates, the tech should be able to tell you if it's a boy or girl.
