Would an intel processor with 1.83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB be enough for 3D applications??
I want to buy a dell notebook with an intel core 2 duo processor, 1,83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, can anybody tell me if it would have a good performance at 3D applications? Thanks,

- yesi u have xp vista is slower at games and better graphice in xp
- Processor is not what decides the graphics handling capabilities of a PC. It is the Graphics card that decides . Even if u have only a 1.66 Ghz processor but a Ge force 8800 u have absolutely no problem. So graphics card is important . The Intel integrated cards called Intel GMA ( Graphics Media Accelerator) that are usually found in systems are no good in gaming but enough for high definition playback . If you need advanced graphics its always best to have a GeForce or ATI Radeon card bought separately.
