does the wii remote work in a 3d space like does it know where you are in the room and how close u r 2 the tv?

1. Yes. However, there is an optimal range for it--it uses a sensor bar to triangulate its position, and the best placement is 3-8 feet away from it. It doesn't read well closer, and starts to shake after about 15 feet.
