1. I use a Dell XPS 17" laptop and do architecture drawings in CAD and also use Photoshop extensively. It works great. Great hi-res glossy screen (1920 x 1200) but the laptop is heavy. Good pricing for features. Make sure you buy an additional warranty for on site service - I chose three years and was glad I did.
