Renderings?

Does anyone know how to create vehicle or home renderings. What software can I use? Thanks

1. I'd recommend Blender if you're looking for 3d modelling. It's free (OpenSource) and you can download it at blender.org It also comes (you download it at the same site) with a book (wiki book, also free) with tutorials on how to model with it. And it includes a step by stp on how to create a simple car. You can start there.
