What can a person do to get a baby to be active for a 3D ultrasound at 32 weeks?
I went to a 3d/4d Ultrasound and could not get any pictures of images as my baby is in the birthing positon with his hands covering his face. What can I do to get his to move or get him active.

- drink something cold and lay on your left side for a few minutes just before.
- Drink something really cold or eat something spicy beforehand. Generally, anytime you eat the baby is going to move around a bit.
- Eat something. That got my son moving!
- ask the ultrasound tech if u can lay on ur side and then drink something cold
- i read in a the what to expect when your expecting baby book that you can eat something sugary and in about a half hour when it hits your blood stream and goes to the baby, it will cause movement.its used to help count fetal movements and to track kicks. It does work, i usually eat something like a bowl of sweet cereal or a donut before we leave for the ultrasound and the baby is very active. last time she was kicking the ultrasound wand. she was covering her face a couple of times but the tech was able to get a couple really good pictures. are you going to a prenatal diagnostic unit with trained techs that specialize in fetal ultrasounds? those are the best to go to that way they can manipulate the wand and the machines controls to get the best possible angle for the photo.
- Drink some juice 30-45 minutes before the ultrasound and try to not to pee..
- Drink a soda about 30 mins. before.
