I am looking for free 3D animated screensavers that will not harm my computer like freezing it up!?

I was told to beware of Freeze.com because it freezes your computer. Also, are they safe? I do not want any adware or spyware either.

1. If the 3D screen saver is freezing your PC - it sounds like it is either corrupted, dodgy or you need more RAM.
2. check out this site, they use opengl. it's kind of like directx, but open source. these are definately safe, i use them myself. http://www.reallyslick.com/ this doesn't have spyware/adware either.
