Blender 3d help.............. ?

I have blender 2.48. (free modelling program) but the thing is, whenever i start it up it always goes into camera mode. And there are always hidden models that only show up in the rendering. PLZ help. 5 stars for the person that helps.

1. youtube> search>Blender
2. Go to "File" in the upper-left corner, select "Load Factory Settings" -That should put everything back the way it was in the beginning (original default settings) Happy Blending :)

4. you know, what i would do is just uninstal it completely, then just download it over again and start new. idk why it would do that though....
