4D at 15Weeks and 4day? Will we see the gender?
I am just DYING to to know whether we are having a boy or a girl. And i found a place that does a 4D ultrasound for gender identification at 16 weeks. Some other places i found do it as early as 14weeks. i will be 15weeks and 4days at my appointment. Is it too early? Has anyone else done this and gotten NO results? or the wrong results? Should i wait? will a few days make a difference? Love to hear from some moms who have done this and how far along they were.

- I didn't have the 4D done, but when I was pregnant with my daughter, I found out what I was having at 14 weeks, so I would think there is a good chance they can tell what the sex is. Good luck!!
- hey hun, You should be able to see the sex. 16 weeks to around 17 weeks. Should be visible.. i found out at 19 weeks & 2 days with 2d. Baby boy. Definitely boy. 4d shouldnt be wrong. but baby is still developing the further along the better. Because baby is more developed and easier to tell and confirm.. Few days will make a difference.. God bless xx
- With 3D/4D pictures they are WAY more clear. I think you have an awesome chance of getting the right gender. However, your face pictures won't be as good at 15 weeks.
- I think the 4D are really great and you might be able to get an accurate response. I had an u/s done at 13 weeks just to check on the fetus well being and they gave me a 4D pic. At that time they didn't check the gender because it was too early but from the 4D pic I can almost see balls and stick. Then at 20 weeks I did another u/s and they confirmed that it was a boy. So my guess it that at 15 and half week they can probably tell the gender via 4D.
- I dont think so but the best time to get a 4d is 26 weeks you can see the face better at 20 weeks you can check the gender
- You might. I found out my baby's gender at 16 weeks.
- I think you should be able to see the gender, although the longer you wait the more accurate it will be. If the baby is in a bad position though you will not be able to see. I found out at 20 weeks and it was VERY obvious. Please remember though that it is not 100% - a friend of mine was told at 20 weeks and they got it wrong.
- I would suggest waiting until you hit the 16 week mark! And you will only find out the sex if your baby isn't camera shy- my sisters had 2 children and neither would uncover their privates for the camera- one had her legs crossed and the other had his hands covering himself. I am due in about a month and he was spread eagle at 17 weeks when we got our ultrasound. Also, genitals can develop a little late- anywhere from 12-18 weeks- and boys testicles don't descend until about 27 weeks. Good luck! Congratulations!
