Who in there right mind would buy a 3D television?
At a time when millions of people have a mountain of debt which they cant afford to pay off because they have or are about to lose their jobs. And now some wise guy comes up with 3D TVs which will lead more and more people further into debt at a very bad time. I'm happy with the ordinary TV which I currently have and will not splash out on a an LCD until my existing TV is f*cked which probably wont be for a while yet. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1097097/3D-televisions-living-rooms-year.html

- It's called personal responsibility. If they can't afford it, they shouldn't buy it. Companies will always continue to develop new and innovative products. You don't have to buy them.
- They have been making TVs 3-D since last year. AND the best news is that they aren't that much more costly to purchase. Now I'd buy one, and wait for the Gaming Industry to start making NEW GAMES in 3-D. That is the 3-D market right there....the gaming industry! Then somebody like Spielberg brings out the last 3 episodes of Star Wars...and nobody will go back to just plain old 2-D. While everybody is in debt, we will ALWAYS be in debt whether the economy is good or bad... The smart thing is to do what you are doing...Living within your means, paying down your debt, and waiting. But don't wait too long...if the manufacturers don't see these TV selling, they'll pull the plug on 3-D, and it will never come back for a good 20 years.
- Think about it, how cool would it be to watch TV in your own home in 3D! That would be awsome!!! If I had money eeeking out my a$$ I would definately buy it. But I dont so I will be happy with my little 20".
- I agree with you, but for different reasons. The problem with 3D TV is that you have to wear glasses- That's right, you have to wear glasses! Who in their right mind wants to put up with this hassle/inconvenience? Don't worry about 3D TV, because unless they can come out with a 3D TV WITHOUT glasses, the technology will FAIL- mark my words.
