Why do I get black polygons appearing in some 3D games?
In Playboy Mansion, occasionally a black 2D polygon will appear in some place. It's a mild annoyance. In Dungeon Keeper 2, however, the entire place is covered in black and the only way to see anything is to zoom in all the way, but even then there are some black polygons interfering. I have Windows Vista. Any fixes?

- dunno
- Generally you'll see black polygons due to the detail dropping out. Generally means you don't have enough video memory.
- I'm not sure but it could be your graphics card get a better 1
- I would recommend updating your GFX card drivers. I can't suggest much else, especially without specs.
- Best Fix http://www.ebuyer.com/product/114048 or make sure the drivers are up to date and you could check the games websites to see if there is patch for them. I had a similar problem with some games when I used to use vista. Edit: patch for playboy mansion. http://www.fileplanet.com/100633/0/0/0/1/section/Patches patches for Dungeon Keeper 2. http://www.fileplanet.com/56207/0/0/0/1/section/Patches
- What video card, and what's the minimum spec for the game for the graphics processor? Check here http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest
- colanth. did you even look at the link you posted? both these games are O L D if the PC can run vista then the hardware more than meets the games requirements, I think fester had the best answer, they probably only work on XP.
