Can anyone recommend some CAD software?

I need to do some very basic sketch plans and need some simple to use (talking trained monkey here), uncomplicated computer aided design software that will get me up and running in a few short lessons. Can anyone help please?

1. yes i did CAD at school all of this year there is a simple program that i found easy to use this program can be found at http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=2704278 you can do basic cad drawings in autocad. you can do 3d drawings in inventor etc. There are various different programs made by autocad so find one that suits your needs!
