architectural renderings (3d illustrations) or game animation+ art?

Which one of these two is the better, higher paid, or growing career/industry? Also, if i want to go into architectural renderings/modeling/animations can i good to college and major in animation and minor in interior design so that if i want to go into game/film animation i can have more options? Or should i just find a school that specializes in architectural renderings. By the way, i'm not planning on majoring in architecture(the non-rendering type).
