3D movies- they are not going to throw things at us are they?
In the 1850's when 3D was tried for the second time in movies, my Dad says that you could tell who had been to see one because they would have a large red bump on the forehead where they have ducked and hit the back of the seat in front, trying to dodge the missiles seemingly being thrown into the audience from the screen.

- HAHAHA thats well funny. and no, they dont lol
- lol there awsome it makes it look like its going to hit you but if you take the glases off its not even out
- No
- at disney theme parks they spray water at you, have moving seat backs and have objects on the floor for their 3d movies
- that only happened because people were new technology at the time and didnt no anything like it so when they seen something coming at them from a screen they thought it was real
- No they aren't really going to throw things at you. -.-''
- lol, no, but sometimes u feel like it might
- yeah, they used to do that in rural areas, but there are only two counts of that happening. of course, they do NOT do that in modern 3D theaters! ;) so just enjoy the movie, and have fun! PS. and might I suggest that you go see My Bloody Valentine in 3D when it comes out? my father was one of the producers, and I have seen it at least 5 times, and it sounds scary, but it is GREAT!!!! ^.^
- Better wear a helmet just in case
- I think your dad was exaggerating a bit, even tho' I'm also sure there might have been a few instances of this happening... 3-D is a really fun experience. Most people don't react that violently to it. It isn't dangerous or anything...Try It!
- ha ha. Definitely not. It is only an illusion. Some movies also go the extra step by spraying water or blowing a puff of air, to create a certain effect. Watching a movie in 3D is an unforgettable experience. Just remember if you get too scared close your eyes and it will go away or remove the glasses and it will be like watching a regular movie.
- um hope you mean the 1950s? Thank goodness we have upgraded..
- 3D is a very complex source, yes it will seem like the missiles are going to hit you but simply take off your glasses and there is nothing but red and blue glare on the screen.
- i went to a 3d porno, the dick almost hit my forehead
- Ive been to see a couple, but one at a theme park almost gave me a heart attack! I screamed so loudly that people were giving me dirty looks on the way out! The the theme was pirates, and i have a phobia of skeletons, and one falls on you. Ugh! Things do jump out at you but its good fun!
