Will the glasses I got at a 3D movie work on the DVD?

I still have the pair of 3D glasses that I received, at the movie theater, when I saw a Meet The Robinsons in 3D. Will these glasses work for the Hannah Montana DVD (or any other 3D DVD) at home? If not, do you know why they won't work?
