How's this performance PC?

Intel CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz, 1333FSB (Dual Core) 6000K Intel CPU Fans : Cooler Master Intel Heavy Duty fan Intel Motherboards : Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G P35, 1333FSB, PCI Express, DDR2, Sound, 1Gb LAN DDR2 memory : 4GB (2x2GB) PC6400 DDR2 800 Dual Channel PCI-Express Video cards : GeForce 8600GT 1GB PCI EXpress 16X dual head, tv out DVD Recorders : Samsung 20x DVD Recorder Dual Layer +R/RW -R/RW (black) Sound Cards : AC 97 3D Full Duplex sound card (onboard) Network Cards : Realtek 10/100/1000 Ethernet Network card Cases : PowMax Black Mid Tower ATX Case w/ Front USB Power Supply : Okia 600W ATX Power Supply Suggestions? I don't care about the case or w/e, and I also have a 500 GB hard drive that I will put in. The total for this btw is $740.

  1. The graphics card is terrible. Not exactly sure what you're planning to do, but if you want to game, you need a better card. Remember when selecting one that memory is not everything; 1GB of memory is wasted on a card as weak as the 8600 GT, as its core can only use about 256MB of that. Good options for budget gaming graphics cards are, from worst performance to best: Radeon HD 3850 (120$) GeForce 9600 GSO (110$) Radeon HD 3870 (140-160$) GeForce 9600 GT (140$) GeForce 8800 GT (170$) Radeon HD 4850 (200$)
