McCanns: 'Madeleine' yellow ribbon as your mobile phone wallpaper ?
Can someone please explain to me, how downloading a 3D yellow ribbon with the words Madeleine on it, and using it as your mobile phone wallpaper, helps to find a missing child ? Source: http://store.findmadeleine.com/acatalog/Mobile_Phone.html

- Dont think thats possible
- Just another way for the McCanns to get gullible people's cash I'm not going to that site they might be getting advertiseing revenue from visitor numbers
- Why not McAdam Its their choice not yours
- If only.
- Nothing is helping to find Madeleine, they just want our cash, just look what good the fund money did. Sorry, it did a lot of good for Kate & Gerrys Mortgage repayments.
- I'm suprised the mcscams are not charging for it!!!
- it won't but it will make money kerching another mortgage payment
- For free? What a surprise!
- Bother just read Julia's reply and I have clicked onto the store thingy out of curiosity. Will not be doing that again. I had no idea there had been a complete industry formed out of this. What a way to behave. A whole scam industry out of the loss of a child. I am disgusted. I wonder what brilliant idea they will launch for Christmas! Perhaps a Cuddle Cat scam - that would be just about their mark!
- Sadly and right from the beginning I don't think Madeleine will be found alive. I think this is just another psychological ploy in which to try and gain public sympathy for the McConns, as in the hope the child will still be found alive and take the focus away from the 'suspects'.......
- It is gross.. I can't believe they have made a 'shop' out of her name.. what next.. ebay listings?? God Bless Madeleine, she has a LOT to forgive...
- It's called MORAL SUPPORT. Something you antis would have no clue about.
- Just went to the site, please some one tell me this is a joke
- They are SO TACKY and MONEYGRABBING they really make me want to vomit.
- yes - i think that there is something quite distasteful that people can buy these things - i think that the whole campaign has tipped over a line and is becoming a money generating campaign - and we - the public - cannot see how it is being used. it is all hyped up and reminds me of the episode of the simpsons where all the stars lined up to sing 'we're sending our love down a well' because bart tricked the world into thinking a boy had fallen down the well ... sentimentality - a poweful and exploitative weapon
- I can't explain how it will help them to find Madeleine, but it will help to pay their mortgage repayments!
- Looks the the beginnings of a rather unhealthy cult to me!
- It doesn't, but it makes me feel ill that they are profiting off her disappearance. Not content with having a fund (which I donated to before someone screams at me), they have trademarked their daughter's photo and name (see the German magazine problem), and they are selling memorabilia of their daughter to the public. It's awful that they have a 'Madeleine store' because it just trivialises her, it doesn't actually help find her. If I didn't know better, I would say that the store was an April Fools' Day joke. I have nothing against the fund, because it has publicised her, but I strongly object to them profiting from their daughter's disappearance by selling t-shirts and wristbands.
- It doesn't, but it is giving them more money!
- Thanks! I'll use it.
